In the January Strategy Peer Group, we did a hands-on session using post-its and flip charts to apply theory to practice and learn how to translate many ideas into relevant Strategic Themes in the evolving Balanced Scorecard, using IFTech as a real-life example!
We will now focus on defining Strategic Objectives, the continuous improvement elements that will enable us to tell the story of how we intend to achieve our Mission and Vision. Join us to learn how to build the corporate Strategy Map - now the FUN really begins!!!
Provide collaborative environment for learning the basics of corporate strategy, using the Balanced Scorecard as a strategic planning and management tool.
The goal of this year's Strategy Peer Group is to introduce participants to the concept of strategic planning and management, using the Balanced Scorecard approach. Each session will explore a specific area of the strategic process, from Mission and Vision down to individual initiatives. There will be 7 sessions in all (September, October, November, January, February, April, May). Each session will build on the concepts and the work of the previous session. Participants will come out of the peer group with ideas and action items they can take back to the office and apply, as they prepare for roles that embrace strategy.
